About us

Who we are

GobezLabs is a product and outsourcing studio building web, mobile, cloud, and AI products for clients around the world.

Our story

GobezLabs started from a simple belief: good software comes from small, senior teams who care about the people using what they build. From our base in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we set out to build for clients anywhere, and to build products of our own.

From day one we’ve paired senior engineering with AI across the whole delivery process, shipping web, mobile, and data products for clients worldwide, and putting that experience into a new generation of AI products.

The name says it: Gobez (ጎበዝ) is Amharic for clever, capable, brave — what you call someone who did the job properly. It’s the bar we hold every project to.
